There are only two types of services we offer: (1) Traditional Recruiting through cold calling, networking with Associates/Associate Recruiting Firms and (2) Location Recruiting.  Both methods work.  The decision which to employ is determined by the Client and how immediate the need is.

Traditional recruiting is comprised of the tried and true protocol of calling on prospective Candidates to present employment opportunities provided by the Client Company.  There is method to this madness in the sheer mathematical truth;  If you speak with enough prospective Candidates, then eventually the right person for the job will be found.  Our ratios are established and posses little variance.  Networking with Associates/Associate Recruiting Firms also aids in this methodology.

Location Recruiting is a type of recruiting not frequently utilized for two important reasons:  cost and effort.  SpencerSource requires the Employer to pay for the travel expense in addition to placement fees assessed for each Candidate placed with the Employer as a result of the Location Recruiting.  SpencerSource has employed this means of recruiting across the United States, including Hawaii.  It works exceptionally well because the human touch is compelling.  This success has a price and it happens to be old fashioned sweat and shoe leather.

When physically approaching a prospective Candidate for the first time, the impromptu meeting is typically met with excitement and an open heart.  The majority of Candidates have never met with a recruiter face to face and appreciate the personal attention.  Most telling is the physical contact.  It is easy to assess the potential of a Candidate by the appearance, mannerism, vernacular and professionalism greeted with before it is explained why we are at their place of business.  The initial contact to placement ratio drops considerably and is clearly an effective tool for identifying and recruiting Candidates in a market where other methodologies have failed.

It has been said that much can be ascertained about a person when shaking their hand for the first time.  It is certainly true here.  The Candidate immediately understands that we are in the business of fulfilling needs by bringing excellence and opportunity together.
